Whale watching in the Gold Coast

Forget the Batman Spaceshot. Superman Escape? Doesnt match up. Lethal Weapon 4? Nah. The feared Tower of Terror at Dreamworld? Not even close.

The ride that managed to get most of us queasy was the seemingly innocuous vessel called "The Eclipse". If "smooth" day on the Pacific ocean was enough to get most of us feeling a little light-headed, I wonder what a "rough" day at the Pacific would be like then.

But, we did manage to catch some glimpses of the amazing whales. We hope that people will learn to take care of the environment and the animals that share our planet.

Sounds of Summer Time...

The Beach Boys once sang, "If everybody had an ocean, across the USA. Then, everybody'd be surfing like Californi-a!" I say if everyone had an ocean across the Beautiful Shores of the Gold Coast, everyone will be surfing, instead of surfing the web for useless blogs.

Well, will be off to the Gold Coast for a short trip with some good friends from school. It will be sort of a nice trip to celebrate our graduation, with a marathon thrown "conveniently" in between. Well, for all we know, we might just "forget to wake up" on the day of the run.

What have I learnt through all the running? Life's a marathon. But we must decide how we want to run it... And, there's no giving up.

Viva Espana!

How did Luis Aragones pick his side? Well, damned if I knew.

Luis Aragones: Well, with David out, who's gonna shoot down the mighty German Goliath?
Assistant manager: No problem, Torres will do the trick.....
Luis Aragones: Si, si........

So it ends. Exponents of the beautiful game prevailed. In truth, the Germans did look dangerous going forward. With Joachim Low at the helm, there's still more to come from the Germans. But, all round, Spain were the better team. Had more in reserve. Had a wily coach. And were worthy winners.

What's going to stop them from adding the World Cup to their Euro Crown?

Day of Reckoning in Euro 2008

After nearly a month of football, it comes down to this. The Spanish Armada against the German Aristocrats... This tournament served up brilliant football. From the false Oranje dawn, the passing of an era for Les Bleus, Houdini acts from the Turks, the futile attempts of the Swiss, to the rewakening of the Russian Tsars... It will be too close to call. If I had to pick, I will go with the Spanish Armada to slay the German Aristocrats...
